The Magical Ingredients
Ours is a mix & blend recipe with only four ingredients, fourth being water. The base consists of castile soap. Everything else works in unison with this base to give you an overall amazing cleansing and soothing experience.
Liquid Castile Soap:
Castile soap is a versatile product that happens to be the star of much DIY personal care or home cleaning products. It is the soul of your body wash, which works to cleanse and form the lather in the absence of an artificial foaming agent. Castile soap is an eco-friendly and toxin-free product used to wash hair & body, clean windows, and other surfaces, wash dishes, and even wounds.
Prepared initially from olive oil, nowadays, oils such as castor, coconut, or hemp oils and several other oils are also making it to the list of ingredients. But as long as there are no sulfates, synthetic fragrances or colors, and triclosan. It is a mild soap that works to clean your skin (we are using it in a body wash, remember) without stripping it or clogging your pores.
Honey:
Another natural ingredient with lots and lots of benefits. And contrary to what you might think, it does not feel sticky at all in the body wash. It blends well with the rest of the ingredients and facilitates the lathering process. Honey is a natural moisturizer, antibacterial, and antiseptic product. Using it in your body wash will help clear your skin, restore and heal the damaged parts, and protect it from harmful agents.
Moisturizing Oil:
Since we are employing the oil cleansing method, it is only natural to use some in our concoction. Also it keeps your skin moisturized and soft even after a relaxing shower. Besides getting the benefits of the oil of your choice, you also get a sweet-smelling DIY body wash for your most cherished time of the day to unwind.
