DIY – No Lye Shampoo Bars Recipe With Coconut Milk

after our last successful recipe for conditioner bars we decided to bring you another great DIY recipe to complete the first one ☺️

This recipe is going to be much easier from the first one and will contain only 3 special ingredients:

full fat coconut milk – Does an amazing job with reducing bacteria on the hair, hydrating and protecting the hair cell and even promote hair growth!

Castile Soap – Always does an amazing cleansing job with any recipe.

Coconut Essential Oil – Good moisturiser, great for Dandruff, known to reduce inflammation and the hair and skin and by that promote faster cell healing.

DIY3 all hair types shampoo bars

Ingredients ⭐️

1/2 Cup

Full Fat Coconut Milk

1/4 Cup

Liquid Castile Soap

7 Drops

Coconut Oil

Silicone Molds

Sonic Facial Cleanser

How To Make 🥣

Step 1

Add the coconut milk, coconut essential oil and the castile soap into a bowl and mix well.

Step 2

Pour the mix into the silicone molds.

Step 3

Freeze until the bars solidify and then move to the fridge for best shelf life.

How To Use ❓

Take one of the bars and rub it gently between your hands with a bit of water, then, massage your hair focusing on the scalp for a minute or so and then rinse with water.

Notes 📌

For better results (especially with curly hair), leave the shampoo on for 3-4 minutes and rinse with cold water, it will keep your hair more shiny and hydrated.

    What is the shelf life of this product?

      Because the bars don’t have water in it, you can keep it in a cool place inside a sealed container, should keep them good for a few months 👌
